This set of short piano pieces for children (which are suitable for ABRSM Grades 3 to 4) was written in 2005 and published by Gonzaga Music the following year. Several of the pieces found their way into examination syllabubs, and one of them, Whistling Tune, can be heard on Youtube. Although intended for children, they can also (like Bartok's Mikrokosmos) be played by fully-fledged pianists; and several of them would make witty little encore pieces for recitals.
