These pieces were written in 1975 as piano-pieces for children, and originally appeared in a set of fifteen pieces called Scrap Book. In 2002 I took these eight pieces from the set and reworked them for wind quintet, changing and expanding them considerably. When played complete, this set lasts about eleven minutes; but individual pieces may of course be played separately.
